Mar. 1--E-education is poised to become a big business in Thailand. There are three main reasons to support the trend. First, the formal educational system cannot satisfy local needs. Parents still prefer to have their children study in famous schools. It reflects the undeniable fact that the teaching quality in schools is inconsistent.

Many parents are willing to move their house registrations to areas where famous schools are located, just to enable their children to apply. E-education might be the technology that could allow numerous students anywhere to learn from popular teachers at top schools.
