Apr. 2--TOT REJECTS FEE COMPROMISE IDEA: Cellular operator DTAC has proposed paying access charges based on a percentage of actual call use to replace the fixed sum of 200 baht per number per month to the Telephone Organisation of Thailand.

The state agency has given DTAC a deadline of April 28 to pay 1.097 billion baht in overdue access charges. However, it has withdrawn its threat to cut access to the fixed-line network for DTAC's three million customers.
