In the late afternoon of May 26, Richard Frazier received a visit by a female acquaintance, Angel Raymer, at his home in Nashville, Tennessee. Raymer left shortly before 6 p.m. and walked to a car where two men, Thurman Dillon and Jason Lynn, were waiting. A few minutes later, all three of them walked to a side door of Frazier's home and broke in. They fought with Frazier, demanded money, and took his wallet and other items.
