Jun. 6--WOODY'S DAY IN COURT: Devoted fans of Woody Allen movies -- there are still a few but the formula is wearing thin, don't you think? -- might be interested in his latest starring role. Playing a director without a lot of business sense, he claims that over the years he had worked for less money than he could have obtained elsewhere, only because the producer was his trusted friend.

This little drama is being acted out in court, in Allen vs Sweetland Films. The New York nebbish claims that Sweetland and its principals, Jean Doumanian and Jaqui Safra, shortchanged him out of more than $12 million for eight movies he made for Sweetland beginning with Bullets ...
