Jun. 5--The aviation industry has weathered the worst of the post-Sept 11 storm, but Boeing Co still expected its revenue this year to decline by nearly 7 percent from last year, chief executive Philip Condit said yesterday.

Mr Condit made the comment during a visit to Bangkok, which included talks with Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra about general economic conditions.

The two men discussed the company's business opportunities in Thailand but did not touch directly on details of aircraft acquisition plans by Thai Airways International Plc.

Thai Airways is working on its fleet expansion plan and expects to clarify details in a few months.
