Aug. 6--The media business of the RS Promotion Plc missed its first-half revenue projection by 25-30 percent, earning about 310 million baht, as uncertainties over programme changes at the Army-owned Channel 5 television significantly affected performance in May and June.

The changes at Channel 5 affected the confidence of media buyers in the future of the four programmes produced by the country's second largest entertainment company. As a result, commercial airtime sales on the programmes in May and June fell 70-80 percent from normal levels.
