Jun. 30--KISSIMMEE, Fla.--Real-estate developer Tony Rey came to the United States from Cuba in 1970 "penniless and almost naked." But a year later, he bought a house.

For Rey, it was the American dream come true. And Rey hopes his new townhouse community off U.S. Highway 192 between John Young Parkway and Central Avenue will fulfill that dream for others in Osceola County who need affordable housing.

The homes, in a gated community called Palm Village, start at $106,990 for a two-bedroom residence.
