Thai retailer Home Pro moves into commercial property.

Aug. 7--Home Product Center Plc, the operator of the Home Pro home furnishing and hardware retail chain, is set to enter the commercial property development business.
It is spending nearly two billion baht to develop retail sites in Hua Hin; on King Kaew road in the eastern suburbs of Bangkok; and Nong Khaem in Thon Buri.
Each location will be developed as a Home Pro Village, consisting of a Home Pro store, restaurants, supermarket, entertainment establishments such as multi-screen cinemas and bowling alleys, in addition to other retailers.
