Jul. 3--Carving a niche in the crowded local beverage market is a challenge that Pradit Klamuangklang accepted with relish.
Now he is reaping the rewards of a secure domestic foothold, while expanding exports of brown rice milk products to Asian markets.
Originally from Chaiyaphum, Mr Pradit entered the industry when he resigned as a hotel attendant to join a Taiwanese-owned beverage company.
He was very interested in working at the firm's factory in the North because some drinks produced there were made of unpolished brown rice or khao klong, which has health benefits.
