Jul. 2--Foreign businessmen have welcomed a new transfer-pricing framework, saying it will benefit companies operating in Thailand when calculating tax liabilities.

Peter van Haren, the head of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce, said the new transfer pricing framework would help eliminate long-standing problems faced by local and foreign companies in assessing tax liabilities.

Members of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce yesterday met senior officials of the Revenue Department to discuss policy developments.
