Jul. 26--STEWARTVILLE, Minn.--A lawsuit has been filed to stop construction of what High Forest Township officials believe could be an adult business at the junction of U.S. 63 and Interstate 90, just north of Stewartville.

In legal documents filed Wednesday in Olmsted District Court, a township attorney says the former Hungry Bear Family Restaurant at 2727 U.S. 63 is being illegally converted into an adult entertainment facility.

The property is owned by Malcolm Inc. of Albert Lea. The firm owns three buildings, two in St. Cloud and one in Mankato, that house adult bookstores run by another company.
