Jul. 26--You may not have seen any of its products yet, but Shocker Toys caught the eye of one firm, which selected the Ridgewood-based company as one of only eight vendors to showcase its work at the second annual Christmas in July.

"We noticed the company and thought that they were a very interesting young company," said Lenora Campos, a representative for the Steven Style Group, a New York City-based public relations firm.

Held in New York City earlier this month, Christmas in July is an initiative that invites reporters to get a sneak peek at select companies' creations that will be on the market in December.
