Nestle SA, the world's largest food company, acquired privately held Chef America, the Arapahoe County-based maker of Hot Pockets, for $2.6 billion in cash, marking one of the largest deals in Colorado since the telecom merger frenzy of 1998-2001.
The jingle hasn't changed for almost 20 years, and neither has the frozen, dough-wrapped sandwich that brothers Paul and David Merage created in 1980 after watching throngs of harried Southern Californians eating on the run.…
