Aug. 6--Farm products under the Kaset brand, such as glass noodles and beans, are familiar to most people living in the provinces, where they have long been popular.
Now the owners who purchased the brand in 1997 have stepped up their promotional campaigns with the goal of rapidly expanding sales in both the domestic and export markets.
The shareholders of Cheer (Thailand) Co, the brand owner, also own Thai Vegetable Oil Plc, which produces A-ngoon vegetable oil.
Cheer relaunched the Kaset brand with much fanfare, after acquiring ownership from Uni Brother Co, to boost sales of glass noodles, green and black beans, and rice.
