Thai Telecom May Wait to Go Public.

Aug. 5--The Thailand Development Research Institute has recommended that TOT Corporation put off its initial public offering, scheduled for the end of next month, as the timing is inappropriate.
Also sharing the view was SCB Securities, TOT's financial adviser, which said that if the market continued to be as unpredictable as it was now, TOT would not have to stick to the original schedule.
TOT executives said they were prepared should the roadshow be put off, but they remained firm on the original schedule of the IPO.
