Aug. 5--Competition in the digital camera market is mounting with an increase in product variety and lower prices, spurring an anticipated doubling in turnover for the segment this year, compared with last year, according to Nakarin Prapaiwongs, country manager for digital imaging for Kodak Thailand.
The market's growth was stimulated by innovations and cheaper technology, he said. The number of digital cameras sold in Thailand would double to 90,000 this year from 45,000 last year.
