Aug. 6--The Australian pastry maker Borgcraft Pty Ltd has announced plans to make Thailand its first overseas production base, making it one of the first firms from Down Under to take advantage of the recently signed Thai-Australian Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
Managing director George Papas said the company planned to set up a joint-venture firm with Strategic Catering Co, a Thai beverage importer, and build a frozen pastry factory with an initial investment of 20 million baht.
