Sep. 5--DhoSpaak Communications, the holder of the Asian Games broadcast rights in Thailand, expects a small loss from the operation, as the costs of technology and manpower are higher than expected.
According to managing director Vorawoot Rojanapanich, the total cost of broadcasting the tournament was 65 million baht, higher than the original budget.
Since all TV systems in South Korea, the host country, are digital, the company has to invest seven million baht to buy equipment from the UK to convert the signal to analogue to be compatible with the system in Thailand.
