Sep. 3--Protesting against alleged political interference, Sippanondha Ketudat, the chairman of Effective Planners, the debt administrator of Thai Petrochemical Industry, yesterday resigned from a panel set up by Justice Ministry to monitor the impact of TPI's restructuring plan.
Prof Dr Sippanondha explained his stance in a letter to the ad hoc committee's first meeting yesterday. He said that joining a committee with political objectives would constitute interference with judicial authority and the civil service tasked with monitoring the plan.
