Sep. 12--Hershey Trust Co. could find itself in court again if it fails to diversify its assets and its main investment, Hershey Foods Corp. stock, plunges in value, a lawyer for the trust company argued Wednesday in Commonwealth Court.
Both the lawyer, Jack Stover, and the panel of judges raised the issue of whether state Attorney General Mike Fisher's efforts to block any sale of the candy giant could one day lead to the transformation of his office to the point where it could intervene in business decisions of not only trust board members, but public companies.
