Thai Telephone Organization Is Confident IPO Will Succeed.

Oct. 3--The new president of Tot Corporation yesterday expressed confidence that the company's shares would be fully subscribed regardless of when the initial public offering occurs.
In a news conference on his second day in office, Sittichai Songpiriyakit assured investors of the financial strength and stability of the company.
TOT is due to be the next high-profile privatisation but market sentiment lately has been poor. Last week, 707 million shares by BankThai failed to sell out and the shares plunged 10.7 percent in value when they resumed trading on Tuesday.
