Oct. 3--Thai shares posted a modest recovery yesterday, gaining 0.52 percent on bargain-hunting, although analysts cautioned against hopes of a sustained rally.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand index yesterday closed at 335.43 points, up 1.74, in turnover worth 4.37 billion baht. Leading trade were banks, up 1.39 percent, finance, up 0.53 percent and property, down 0.23 percent.
