Aug. 3--A national framework for sustainable urban development in Thailand is expected to be forwarded to the cabinet soon.
The framework, the result of a study by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), will go to the NESDB board before being sent to the cabinet for approval.
The NESDB, the government's think-tank, hopes the framework will be used by state agencies, especially those involved in town planning and infrastructure development of megaprojects.
