US chain Office 1 Superstores to open in Thailand.

Aug. 3--Office Depot and Makro Office, Thailand's two leading office equipment and stationery chain stores, will soon be joined by a new competitor from the United States, Office 1 Superstores.
The Florida-based company is planning to establish a presence in Thailand by creating a joint venture and selling franchise licences to local investors.
Mark Baccash, the president and CEO of Office 1 Superstores for international markets, said the company was interested in Thailand because it saw good potential for increased future sales of office products.
