Aug. 2--The SET-listed contractor Power Line Engineering Plc will install a 1.6- billion-baht mechanical and electrical system at the athletes' village being built for the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
President Swake Srisuchart said Power Line was subcontracted for the project by Elseif Development, a large Saudi Arabian contractor that won a 5.5-billion-baht contract to build the village in the tiny Persian Gulf nation.
The project, consisting of 32 buildings, will eventually be developed into the Hamad Medical City, a state-of-the-art health facility.
