Aug. 2--Sportswear manufacturer adidas (Thailand) Co is intent on tapping the popularity of fashionable sports apparel among young Thais by launching a new collection of women's sportswear.
Marketing manager Tananya Nim-asdavut said sportswear for women was a very small segment in the whole sportswear market. No agency has yet conducted market research on the segment, but she estimated it constituted at the most 15 percent of the total market.
