Nov. 6--Veritas Software Corporation expects its sales revenue in Thailand will double next year for the third consecutive year, spurred by the continued strong potential of the telecoms and manufacturing sectors.

The company planned to allocate a larger investment budget in the Asia-Pacific region next year, compared with the 25-30 percent set aside in the region last year, said Darric Hor, regional business development manager for Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Veritas has lifted its profile and marketing efforts in Thailand over the past two years since deciding to set up a local operating unit.
