Nov. 6--The government will continue to pursue its populist economic policies to arrest a possible decline in economic growth next year, according to Deputy Prime Minister Prommin Lertsuridej.
The Bank of Thailand cautioned the cabinet yesterday about the possible decline in economic growth next year, due largely to external factors.
However, the central bank told the cabinet that growth had remained healthy and better than expected so far. This year's growth was confirmed by the central bank at 4.0-4.5 percent.
