Nov. 2--Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Plc, the country's largest privatised power plant, is looking into purchasing a 30 percent stake in Amata Power Co, currently held by the Bayernwerk Group of Germany.
Ratchaburi president Boonchu Direksathaporn said due diligence was expected to be completed within two months, after which the offered price would be set.
He discussed the proposal yesterday at a ceremony held to mark the transfer of the last power generation unit to Ratchaburi from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (Egat).
