Dec. 14--CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.--Ellie Johnson of Family & Children's Services of Chattanooga says some of her clients' Christmas lists don't make the typical requests which show up this time of year.
Everyday items such as toilet paper, detergent, toothpaste and shampoo that her elderly clients can use during the course of 2003 often make the lists, she said.
Employees of UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga's largest company, are providing the agency with 3,000 to 4,000 gifts this year, said Deb Kee, a 4-year worker for the disability insurer.
