"Leading doctors today called for a major overhaul to avoid babies being born alive after abortions," reported the London Evening Standard on June 22. "Pregnancy expert Stuart Campbell has demanded [that] rules ... be tightened after it was revealed that at least nine babies are known to have survived terminations in recent years. He said injections that were supposed to end their lives in the womb failed to do so--and he called for stricter regulations to be enforced on the methods of abortion."
Under the lethal "logic" of abortion, a child has no right to live if his mother intends for him to die. As the British paper noted: "Guidance issued by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists states that a legal abortion must not be allowed to result in a live birth."
According to Campbell, who bears the title of obstetrician but is morally unqualified to be regarded as a physician, "It is really unfair on the nurses and the parents to see the baby making some sort of movement after birth." Thus he recommends "an injection, followed by ...
