Jul. 9--McDonald's Corp. launched a super-sized offering of wireless high-speed Internet service in the Bay Area on Tuesday, the largest and most extensive of the restaurant chain's deployments so far.
The world's most ubiquitous fast-food chain began the pilot program Tuesday at 55 Bay Area restaurants, a high-speed Internet golden arch that stretches from San Francisco to San Jose, Danville to Hayward. Another 20 will add it to their menu during the next few weeks.
