Aug. 20--Months before Richard Williams was set free because the former nurse couldn't be tied to the deaths of 10 patients at the Columbia veterans hospital where he worked, autopsies were performed on the exhumed bodies of Ashland nursing home residents who died while Williams worked there.
Little is known about results of the autopsies, but they were apparently performed to determine if Williams continued his alleged murder spree at Ashland Healthcare after he left Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital.
