Oct. 15--City Council members voiced their support Tuesday for using economic development money for police and fire stations.
They also passed resolutions against statewide ballot measures seeking to create video lottery terminals and to borrow up to $2 billion for water projects.
All seven council members voted to support Ballot Question 2C which would spend up to $17 million in half-cent sales tax revenue on a new police station, two new fire stations and several police substations.
