Oct. 15--Business ethics need not be an oxymoron, and five Central Texas winners of the second Samaritan Center Ethics in Business awards prove it.
Winners were honored in three categories at a dinner Tuesday night attended by more than 400 business and community leaders.
Advanced Micro Devices Inc., Tokyo Electron Ltd. and Tuerff-Davis EnviroMedia won in the business category.
SafePlace received the nonprofit award, and Brian McCoy, chairman and president of McCoy's Building Supply, with 86 stores in five states, won in the individual category.
