Kingston, Jamaica: Parliament has given approval for government to guarantee a 20.9m-US-dollar loan for the Port Authority of Jamaica to purchase four ship-to-shore gantry cranes for the Kingston Container Terminal.

The financing agency is the Export Import (Ex-Im) Bank of China and the cranes will be supplied by Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited.
