Jul. 24--Thursday nights at the Mountain Creek Road Pizza Hut are likely to be as busy this fall as usual, thanks to the Hamilton County Board of Education.
The board's resurrection of middle-school athletics means Thursday-night football games are back on the calendar. That, in turn, means area restaurants will go on hosting winners' celebrations and losers' consolations.
"Anytime there's any kind of sports event going on, we get lots of families and teams," said Heather Miller, a manager at the Pizza Hut at the foot of Signal Mountain.
