Sep. 5--The dispute between the local units of Unilever and Procter & Gamble (P&G) over comparative TV advertisements for anti-dandruff shampoo escalated yesterday with Unilever filing a lawsuit demanding 471 million baht in compensation from P&G.
Unilever Thailand also asked the court to order P&G Thailand to immediately stop advertising its Head & Shoulders anti-dandruff shampoo.
The suit was filed in the Civil Court (Bangkok South) by the two subsidiaries of the Anglo-Dutch consumer goods giant -- Unilever Thai Trading Ltd and Unilever Thai Holdings Ltd -- against Procter & Gamble Manufacturing (Thailand) and ...
