Sep. 5--The government has earmarked the ports of Ko Si Chang and Laem Chabang in Chon Buri to be developed as export-processing zones for the oil business as a starting point for Thailand's ambition to become the new regional oil trading market.
Energy Minister Prommin Lertsuridej said the final decision would be made next week on what development might be needed at the two sites.
