Philips Electronics Makes Thailand Financial Hub.

Sep. 3--Philips Electronics has made Thailand its Asia-Pacific financial services centre as part of a major corporate restructuring that includes a strategy to strengthen its presence in the region, according to senior executives.
The global strategic programme, called "transforming into One Philips", began last year and is being adopted in Asia this year, according to John McClare, Philips' senior vice-president in charge of corporate strategy.
