Sep. 2--LONDON--Thai restaurateurs around the world should join hands and build up supply chains back to Thailand to ensure the authenticity of the cuisine and boost the country's exports, says Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak.
He said the government would encourage Thai restaurants operating abroad to create an efficient logistics system. Many Thai-owned restaurants in London, for instance, currently rely on Chinese importers for ingredients.
