Sep. 24--For nearly five days, Greg and Julie Bakke and their two children have been eating out, shopping and playing outdoors while they wait for the power to come back on at their Spring Garden Township home.
"It's just been a nightmare," Julie Bakke said Tuesday afternoon.
She has stumbled out on the porch in the middle of the night to get their 16-month-old son a bottle from the cooler. She has kept the kids entertained by playing in the yard with them until it gets dark. She has made a trip to the laundromat to wash 10 loads of laundry.
