Oct. 2--The country's biggest second-hand automobile centre, Si-ri-us Plaza, is about to usher in a new era in a market that its promoters say has been overlooked.
The Lat Phrao complex was developed by a group of second-hand car dealers who see an untapped market opportunity for a stylish, one-stop sales centre combined with luxurious shopping and restaurant amenities.
"It's time to lift the image of the roadside, canvas-roofed used-car operator to create a more grand reputation in an air-conditioned shopping mall," said Jinthong Saenkongsuk, managing director of Si-ri-us Complex, the developer of the project.
