Oct. 4--The Energy Ministry says the long-delayed southern seaboard pipeline development project needs to be evaluated in terms of economic viability, its effects on the environment and the country's strategic oil needs.
The project, initially proposed in 1989, involves building a petroleum pipeline across the southern peninsula with related facilities at each end at a cost of 73.74 billion baht.
