Oct. 6--OSLO, Norway--Telenor Mobile says it has no plans to increase its investment in Total Access Communications, even though it remains pleased with the Thai unit's strong success in the mobile market during the past year.
Telenor currently holds a 40 percent stake, both directly and indirectly, in TAC, following a US$750 million investment made in 2000.
TAC, which operates under the DTAC brandname, currently has some 6.2 million subscribers, or around half that of market leader Advanced Info Service.
