Nov. 5--The Customs Department and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand yesterday signed an agreement to reduce tax inspection procedures for companies located in industrial estates.
Chavalit Sethameteekul, the Customs director-general, said the agreement would help facilitate imports and exports for firms operating in industrial estates, part of a broader government programme to strengthen the country's competitiveness in global markets.
