Nov. 5--Whether in Chiang Mai, Bangkok or at a provincial market, Siksoke Boonta never fails to draw a crowd when he purses his lips and blows.

The 36-year-old ceramics expert and former civil servant has carved out an interesting niche market with the sales of small ceramic flutes and whistles.

At the BaanLaeSuan Fair that ended on Sunday at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Bitec), his exhibition booth always had visitors, while he tirelessly gave demonstrations of how his innovative clay whistles and flutes work.
