Insurance Premium Overhaul Due in Thailand.

Nov. 4--The General Insurance Association will take into account social, political and financial factors in addition to car models and drivers' ages in a sweeping review of the current auto insurance premium structure.
Nopadol Santipakorn, chairman of the auto insurance group of the General Insurance Association, said the Insurance Department, the association and other parties were now re-examining the current premium structure, first implemented in April 2000.
