Nov. 1--Economic growth was steady in September, aided by record export values of US $6.9 billion, according to the Bank of Thailand.
Atchana Waiquamdee, senior director for the central bank's Domestic Economy Department, said domestic consumption remained relatively strong, albeit growing at a more moderate pace from the previous month. Private investment also posted a steady recovery.
