Nov. 6--An inheritance tax would generate relatively little revenue for the state, given loopholes in the system, according to Finance Minister Suchart Jaovisidha.
He said a more straightforward method of lifting revenues would be to raise tax rates in high income brackets.
Thailand currently has a top rate of 37 percent, taxed on personal income of more than four million baht per year.
